CEC and S/PDIF
#1
Just got the D5 with 2GB RAM. Looks goods, but that's all..
CEC is not working and the BOX with (the very newest 12282016 FW) does not support CEC and
the Optical out Toslink is dead - and of course also after switching on the Android Sound settings output...

Anyone with the box which has either CEC or Toslink working?

IPVanish is probably the best VPN service to use in order to watch movies and TV shows anonymously on Kodi or otherwise. And, Check GearBest $12 Sale (including many TV Boxes and Smartphones!)

No one to just try the SPDIF output or CEC on his box?

I can’t get audio via spdif either. Even after I switch to SPDIF pass through under Sound Settings.... sound via HDMI works fine to TV, but my stereo is old and doesn’t support HDMI....only optical TOSLINK......maybe a new firmware upgrade from 6.0.1 will be the answer....who knows?
