DTS, DTS-HD MasterAudio, DD-TrueHD
#1
I have a brand new X86 (Christmas gift :-) with KODI 17.0 - and the DTS-HD passthru doesn't work...
It's a little bit tricky - the dolby TrueHD 7.1 demo IS wonderful - and it's working, but the DTS HD-MA starts and i can hear for 43-45 sec ONLY. In every case :-(
(ONKYO NR609)
I have checked every advanced-expert settings :-(
1. android device - HDMI bitstream (the speed of SPDIF doesn't support HD audio...)
2. KODI - passthrough enable
3. channels - 7.1
4. up and downmix - OFF
5. mode(?) - best match
6. receiver is capable every DD and DTS (except one: the second item in DD :-)

Would it be a HW error?? (on which side: AVR or the player? I don't have any other HD capable device so i can not try other player but DTS core sounds good from my old EMTEC N200 player on this AVR)
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

You sure that is a box of NEXBOX? I'm afraid we don't have a box with Kodi 17.0 at the present. :-)

If the logo message is true on the boot screen: NEXBOX... (or it is a joke only? :-) )
And i've checked the vers of KODI: it is 15.2.   Oups :-(((
As i know this version doesn't support HD audio passthrough :-(  I'm not so familiar sw update in Android, so how can i install a new vers of KODI?
Maybe it will be better!!
