same problem here. had the device 1 week, sunday it wanted to update. so I updated, now NO audio what so ever. seems to be no support. wasted $40 dollars. contacted company and Amazon for resolve this morning. so I will wait and see. company should send out OTA to resolve this. And they must not test it on their product before updating. Just take the money and your on your own. so now the unit is a brick!

Hi there, just wondering if there is a good 'modified' firmware out there that updates and fixes this sound issue, proven and tested? I have worked out a way to turn off the annoying update notifications By killing the running 'update' apps, they only get reloaded if the box is powered off and on completely. ?

I have the same audio issue and numerous reboots does not always work to get the audio to work. Now the question that has not been asked to Alina and hope to get an answer to is why is there new 6.0 firmware released rather than fixing the bad update from Jan 2017??????
seems everyone involved with this product is MIA, can't seem to find the Nexsmart website, keep getting error code and the spokesperson Alina has no answers either for an update that fixes audio issues.
