Kodi 17.3
#1
I'm having problems upgrading Kodi to version 17.3 on my Nexbox A5.  Even after a factory reset I still get a message stating the application was not installed.  I've tried using both the Google Play store and apk files.  Also, I can't update the firmware due to an invalid link.

@jgregs99

Have you tried using Eric's tutorial on how to upgrade from Kodi 16.1 to 17.1 (17.3)

http://www.tvboxforum.com/showthread.php?tid=890

Its a proven and tested method.

The FAQ is a great resource

I can confirm it is in the link I provided you just have to look a bit. It did take Eric a good amount of his own personal time , to provide it for us all..

Search for the txt....

Q: Is there a procedure to upgrade the version of Kodi (16.1) that came with my box , to the newer 17.1 Krypton Build?
A: Yes , thanks to Facebook Group member Eric De Schepper , we have a procedure:

Earlier today, while trying to downgrade everything since Kodi 17.3 kept crashing, I managed to brick my box! Luckily, I was able to make a Frankenstein male/male USB cable and get things back to the latest April firmware with the usb tool (thanks for the faq!). Anyways, I'm back to stock now- but I see that Kodi is not included in the firmware. Friz- I see that you have Kodi/TVMC 16.1 and 17 on your file repo. Are these more likely to work than installing 17.3 from app store on a clean firmware? Just want my box, (especially Kodi) to be stable again! Thanks for any tips.

Version 17.3 has bug, but now, on the latest kodi 17.4 the app runs great and stable. I use it now and runs well on my device.

Kodi 17.3 is now being made available gradually to the various platforms, with Android being one of the first versions to be updated. This Kodi is the ultimate hub for all your media. That's why I really love it!
