! TEST Android 7 firmware FOR the ''OLD'' AP6330 chip !
#1
This is the stock Android 7.1 firmware of a tv box called Leelbox Q3 with identical with ours hardware!
To work the stock IR remote 100% in NEXBOX  A1 - A3 you must change the remote file inside the system / etc  folder with rw-r-r permissions 644 and reboot!
All the users of YUNDOO don't need the remote file !
Their stock IR remote is above 90% working ok as it is!!!
2 ''bugs'' so far , the led light is working backwards (red- on , blue off)  & no TWRP !

Gatos814,
How about NEXBOX A2? Is the Android 7.1 firmware suitable for A2 as well? If yes, what precautions should be aware of? Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that A95X A2 uses 9377 chip ,so will not work the wifi and the bluetooth!

Using your attached remote-mouse.tab file, all normal IR is working, with the exception of IR power on.
Also, WiFi is working on my 6330 A1.  Bluetooth devices are pairing ok as well.
Good work!

Would be great to have this AP6330 chipset version for a vanilla 7.1.2 Google rom.

EDIT: looks like we do have it -

So after a lot of testing, I got tired of trying to get a decent way of powering on the A1 using any of the new 7.x based roms. They work ok, but still have some instability and the IR power on issues really mess it up for me.

I decided to go back to the latest 6.x based standard Nexbox rom, then loaded the latest CoreElec nightly 9.x.
What a difference.
If anyone is still wrestling with their Nexbox A1 (original 6330 version), I suggest doing this, using the A1 remote config files I've uploaded, use the included DTB file with the rom and enjoy, what I've found to be, the most stable Kodi (18B4) experience I've had on these A1's since I bought them.

For the first time I've been able to let it sit and scan in my entire library without it hanging and needing a restart. No problems playing anything so far.
Give it a whirl guys, as mine works really well with both the original remote and the airmouse.
