I used Buttons Remapper (no root) https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...nsremapper and I can say I successfully remapped the button and was able to handle it as Menu button or whatever. Its code was detected as PROG_RED.

BUT! Unfortunately the button's main function - mouse cursor becomes enabled as it was before. I still cannot disable it. When applying Buttons Remapper the button becomes dual-functional Smile

So I believe the solution is somewhere in keyboard files.
My Mecool box is M8S PRO W and the remote is as is:

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

In fully root , you'll find what you are looking for on system/etc and you have to look for the remote.conf
Good luck!
