First of all we will try to entering in TWRP recovery..... !
Unzip the twrp recovery and rename it to recovery.img
Use it in a fresh formatted sd card and put it into the tv box
Unplug all the cables except HDMI
Push reset button while plugging the power cord
Wait for a few seconds to get into recovery mode
That's it!
From there try to install the zip file and tell me what exactly will say if there is a denial!

i formatted sdcard fat32 and copy recovery.img (that you gave) and firmware.zip
while resetting pluged power. There is only black screen (Always black screen, never start from sd before)
i think this device does not boot from sd Sad

From the time your pc recognize the tv box but don't end the procedure it's a good thing!
It's soft bricked and not hard bricked so there is still ... life inside it!
You just have to try then with other similiar SoC firmwares in .img to see if there is any difference....!
So here are some for test :

Glad you did it!
But if you have some time , test and the others , to see if they are ok with your tv box!
And .... feedback the results!
With this way you might help and others!
